The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has announced the applications to develop partnership between local and displaced NGOs to overcome challenges caused by War in Ukraine.

The UN Reconstruction and Peacebuilding Program (UN RPP) is implemented by four UN agencies: the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the United Nations Framework for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Food and the United Nations Agricultural Organization (FAO).

The program is supported by twelve international partners: the European Union (EU), the European Investment Bank (EIB), the US Embassy in Ukraine, as well as the governments of Canada, Denmark, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden and Switzerland.

The UN program for reconstruction and peace-building is aimed at meeting the main priority needs in the areas of stabilization, peace-building, economy and governance in eastern Ukraine. The Program’s activities are grouped by the following key components, which reflect priority needs:

Component I: Economic recovery and infrastructure development;

Component II: Local governance and decentralization reform;

Component III: Public Safety and Social Cohesion.

Duration: It is expected that the duration of the proposed project should not exceed six months.
